2. Choose the Right Kind of Paper For printing brochures, many printing companies use paper stocks in 80 lbs to 100 lbs in various finishes. It is definitely your preference, but a thicker paper stock is significantly more substantial compared to thinner stocks without huge difference. Bear in mind that using a superior quality paper might persuade a potential client about your professionalism compared to other companies within your business niche. Moreover, adding matte finish will provide a striking gloss for your brochure. However, if a large part of your brochure is covered with ink, it will appear as glossy. But if you use darker colors in your design, using a matte finish or a varnish will avoid smudges on the paper.
